With the abundance of large civilian occupied industrial and residential areas, it is often essential for Officers to conduct covert scouting and reconnaissance missions in both criminal and counter terrorist operations. The vast experience of Craft International staff of working covert under hostile conditions mean we are better able to appreciate and so facilitate a class aimed at supplying the officer with the fundamentals needed to better succeed under challenging conditions. On this class the officer will be taught and will then carry out practical examples of scouting under realistic conditions in a real urbanized area to better prepare them for real world operations.

Day 1
- 0800-0830 Opening Address and Class administration
- 0830-1230 Purpose, Techniques, and tactical requirements
- 1230-1330 Issue student problems
- 1345-1600 Recce TEWT
- 1600-1700 Issue student night recce problems
- 1700-2200 Student recce preparation
- 2200-0200 Student Recce
Day 2
- 0900-1100 Students final prep for debrief on their recce
- 1100-1230 Student issued debriefs
- 1230-1430 Prep of long term hide in hostile environment
- 1430-1530 Vehicle Hides
- 1530-1630 Class debrief and dispersion
NOTE* *This course is restricted to Mil/ LE. Military ID and LE commission cards will be checked the first day of class. **
CLASS DETAILS
- Class Duration: 2 days
- No weapons are required: Service handguns may be brought
- Laptop computer: Any make but windows compatible
- Digital Camera: With ability to download pictures to a laptop
- Measuring tape: Straight edge and tape measure
- Suitable civilian attire: To include a small civilian rucksack or holdall. (Clothing to be suitable for the time of year.)
- Steno Pad, Pen and Calculator: Variety of pens pencils (colored)
- Small concealable optic: Small binoculars or monocular required (x10 or above).
