The site was chosen for its similarity in both climate and terrain to current operational deployment zones. The facility allows units to carry out effective pre-deployment training and provides a natural progression from the more typical square range environment.
Training capabilities and site benefits include:

- Terrain suitable for foot, mobile, aerial and patrol action evolutions

- COMING SOON: A realistic Afghan-style village allowing live fire down into the village from the mountains and from ground level, as well as fire from the village into the surrounding mountains
Site Location
The site is located 1 hour and 45 minutes north of Phoenix by car and approximately 37 miles south of Kingman. Las Vegas is the closest major airport, although Phoenix Sky Harbor is still viable. Kingman is a modern city with local amenities and a regional airport. We have an agreement in place with Best Western Inn, providing a twin room with complimentary hot/cold breakfast daily for $69 per night for all Craft students if required. Laughlin is 1 hour away by car, with Las Vegas an hour and a half north of the site.
